Document Checklist

To help get you started, we’ve compiled a handy checklist of all the documents you will need to complete a reverse mortgage loan application. 

It’s a good idea to spend some time gathering all this information together so we can make the process as smooth, stress free and efficient as possible.

Identification

  • Medicare card
  • Drivers Licence
  • Passport
  • Birth certificate
  • Heath Care Card (Centrelink)
  • Australian bank/financial Institution issued Credit or Debit card
  • Seniors Card
  • Australian citizenship certificate

Home ownership

  • Existing property – council rates notice
  • New property purchase – signed sales contract

Financial

  • Income / pension confirmation (either via recent bank statements for last 90 days or via a [client authorised] secure bank account information scrape of your relevant accounts)
  • Liabilities including the most recent statements for credit card(s), personal loans, or other debts to be refinanced
  • Mortgage statements (last six months) for any home loan to be refinanced

IMPORTANT: Bank account information requirements
You will have the option to authorise us to conduct a secure bank ‘scrape’, which will provide us with all the information we need for your application. If you’re opting to supply bank statements, it is worth noting the following:

  • Bank statements must include your name and account details
  • Statements must show consecutive days of transactions, with the last transaction no older than 30 days
  • Credit card statements need to include the credit card limit, all transactions and page numbers and need to be supplied as PDFs
